Activists released from Israeli custody after being detained on a flotilla trying to bring aid to Gaza were subjected to abuse, organizers said on Friday, with several hospitalized with injuries and at least 15 reporting sexual assaults, including rape. Sean Hogan has more.

      At a guess, the word ‘allege’ is used, because the Israeli government are litigious. (posted same reply, but just realised that this is different sub)

        Would they sue for saying they did rape or for not glorifying their rapes I’m not sure which would offend them more

          Not glorifying. There was a video about 2 years ago online where they were boasting about the rapes that they had done that week.

        I understand it, I just have a dislike for how the “news” which is supposed to be informative and deliver truth (in an ideal world) needs to tip toe around the whims of a genocidal state while not (rightfully) doing the same for other countries like Russia.
