More useful than me for sure! I just looked at your history and found so many of the posts I clicked on in the past couple of weeks were yours so thanks for that!

3·3 months agoWow that’s heavy man. Thanks for sharing, it doesn’t sound like fun and I must assume it’s always been that way for you growing up, in which case kudos for recognising the negative behaviour. Do you and your brother ever talk about your mother’s behaviour towards you? I wonder if there’s some solace you can both find in sympathy and support. I don’t know that your mother’s behaviour is likely to change but it may be quicker to change how it affects you both (and the second order effects you wrote about).
Anyways, you sound like a thoughtful individual so you’re going to be fine, we all just hope you have the best journey on the way there.

16·4 months agoMy excuse was I don’t act for what I believe in because I don’t know how to. Your post showed me, I kinda do. I was doing it already, I should double down on it and most important help others on their journey. You’re a force multiplier today. Tomorrow some folks who read your post will be as well.

I’m with you on the first part but without pulling back the foreskin, achieving a laminar flow is difficult to impossible, further if you should have gotten there earlier, say between second and third litre of pepsi (no judgement) you’re wrestling with a firehose which is imho the worst possible outcome.
