Fair enough but yeah, fix the breach… don’t just destroy an ecosystem and kill hundreds of animals. Seems like a lazy and shortsighted decision to just completely turn it off.

This… I remember one of our neighbors finally letting their homeschooled kid go to public school and play with us. We had to teach him how to run. I remember my young mind being baffled by this. He was incredibly naïve and overly trusting so he got bullied mercilessly and beat up at recess. His mother did him no favors by being really nasty with us when we went over to take him fishing, exploring, etc. We moved away and i wonder what happened to him… he was a gentle soul.

Like someone else noted, they tend to go bonkers when they are mature enough and you have to let them outside. They have extremely sharp teeth that can cut to the bone and can be destructive. But if you rehab one they often visit.

Used to frequent a streaming site for telestreaming robots. I remember the owner getting excited when Ice Poseidon contacted them because of his popularity, thinking it would help traffic. Community warned her it was playing with napalm. She invited him anyway. It only attracted a shitload of griefers, incels and filth that never fully went away after he quickly became bored and left. Site was never the same.

This piece of shit was somehow even more annoying so you love to see it.

Noticed people talking about this for a while regarding Arc. For myself it seems as gaming became more accessible and streaming took off (especially on PC) the toxicity and trolling in games with social features increased exponentially. As a result I now deliberately avoid games with any kind of PVP if it’s not separate or solo-able, and I disable chats and voice out of habit unless i’m with clanmates. I don’t even give it a chance. I ignore people in open world or “live” games in pve areas for the most part as well.

During the ps3/360 era i could join random games and meet interesting people and most were just normal. Not sure what console atmosphere is like now since i stopped buying them.

Hopefully this becomes more of the norm.

Didn’t even know it existed until they pulled the plug on their MMO. Didn’t seem to be any marketing for it. After taking a quick glance I could see why, it was pretty… lacking in comparison to competitors. And now they want to strip more away? Just drop the sunsetting theatrics and let it die.
