Mike Tyson, in the air on a Southwest flight. I waited outside the toilet for it to come free. He stepped out and made intense, direct eye contact with me. I quirked an eyebrow. He gave a slight nod. I sat back down and waited for land.

Nichelle Nichols shortly before her death. I have worked In and around the entertainment industry since middle school, and have been around a lot of celebs. I never thought I would get Star Struck meeting Nichelle.

I worked for a comic con she was a guest, and all day any time she needed anything she asked for me. Her manager contacted the owner of the con to tell him she asked for me at the next two cons she visited.

She was a wonderful person and she took a selfie of me and her, sadly I never got a copy of it.

Stallman. He spoke at my university and toured our lab. I was vaguely aware of open source but did not have intentionality in my computer and technology usage until hearing him. It was great hearing the philosophy of free software.

A symphony conductor. He was counterintuitively down to earth, humble and incredibly kind and generous.

Some random girl, niece or something of a neighbour. Met her through the fence. Never met in flesh. Cranked one out to her dozens of times before I hit about 12 or so and finally managed to properly kiss a girl

Weird I was just thinking about this last night. A lady I worked with very briefly, years ago. I dont even remember her name. We spent maybe one short shift together. She was charismatic and beautiful and got my Key & Peele reference immediately. I wish I could have been her best friend, but she was one of the busiest people I ever met. I hope she’s still living her best life.

This old dude my friends and I met while picking up an order from a late-night pizza place mid acid trip. He was the only other one there, and he looked like a straight up native American shaman with double braids and a poncho. We started chatting about The Matrix because it was playing on the TV, and that turned into a pretty deep spiritual conversation in the 5 minutes it took for our order to finish up.

I don’t remember the conversation, but I’ll never forget that guy.

Sam Brownback when I was in high school in the 90s. Used car salesman energy.

Even more than Bob Dole who I also met once.
