I have a boss who tells us weekly that everything we do should start with AI. Researching? Ask ChatGPT first. Writing an email or a document? Get ChatGPT to do it.
They send me documents they “put together” that are clearly ChatGPT generated, with no shame. They tell us that if we aren’t doing these things, our careers will be dead. And their boss is bought in to AI just as much, and so on.
I feel like I am living in a nightmare.
I’m exactly in the same boat.
I’m a developer and my boss has no idea about developing. If i take long with something, he consults chatGTP and gives me the solutions chatGPT came up with.
It’s exhausting…
Same! He’ll paste me a response from chatgpt showing how chatgpt would’ve solved the problem I am working on. It will have a list of 3 solutions, and mine will be better… yet I have to waste time proving that it’s better than chatgpt’s.
@[email protected] @[email protected] well I find that with codex I have the code implemented before anyone can complain about anything. I mean you ask and a few minutes later it’s done. Yeah more complicated stuff may take a bit longer, but most requests are simple.
