At least nine people have been killed in a mass shooting in the Bekkersdal township, southwest of the city of Johannesburg in South Africa, according to police. A manhunt for those responsible is currently underway.

    I’m curious what could be causing this.

    Johannesburg is a hellhole rife with corruption and abuse, so maybe the people doing this feel like they have no other way to fight back.
