The policeman had sought payment from the internet giant for harm to his dignity, arguing he was behind a 6 1/2-foot wall when a Google camera captured him in the buff, from behind, in small-town Argentina in 2017.

Yeah, I’d expect not to have photos of me from behind my tall fence posted online, too. And blurring faces does nothing if it’s your home address in a small town. Honestly, though, I’m siding with this naked cop because fuck google. Going up against them must be like throwing your money in a blender, so good for him for bothering.

Not sure why they even do the face blurring thing. Isn’t there software that can basically just remove the entire person from the photo and patch up the image?

First of all, nudity shouldn’t be a crime if you’re not being inappropriate. If you’re at the beach. Tanning. Shouldn’t be illegal. It’s legal to sunbathe nude in public parks in Germany. Nudity is our natural state. It’s not a big deal.

Secondly, this guy was on his own property. And apparently in his backyard.

Get your goddamn Big Brother spy shit out of my backyard.
