Absolutely fine. Nearly at the subscription numbers that [email protected] had. Weekend was slow, but that’s common in TV as most news breaks across the weekdays and I personally refuse to post low-effort clips of Saturday night show comedians lol

    • on [email protected], the 15-day tournament (which occurs every 2 months) just finished on sunday. during the last tourney two months ago, I posted every day, providing a fight pic and links. but this time on day 1 I made a post but explained that I was not going to be able to post every day bc of my schedule. And I’m happy to say that 3 other people made posts during the tourney. which for a niche sub is a lot. so that was kinda neat. I think next tourney I’m just gonna post on the first day, last day, and mid-tourney day, and suggest other folks post on other days if they wanna.
    • [email protected] is now officially about “goth industrial” and not just “goth industrial MUSIC”. well, mostly the mods just changed the descriptor, a couple months ago they’d already decided to make it more general, and I’ve been posting “dark” cartoons for a while. I kinda wanna start trying to make memes for the community… I made a bunch for the monsterdon watch party on mastodon, so donno why I haven’t made as many here… I think bc I’ve mostly been listening to bandcamp tracks which mostly don’t have videos… I should probably study existing memes tho…
    • on [email protected] @[email protected] did a “shark week” thing, posting multiple reviews of shark-related b-movies. It’s a pretty good example of using an “event” to come up with a bunch of posts that also welcome other folks to participate in.

Real life is picking up, but I did find some time to post enough to keep my communities out of the “no posts in a month” box :)

    • One of my only other posters on [email protected] seems to be a bit inactive just looking at the communities we share, but hey, I also wasn’t on that much for a few weeks, so no problem, so long as I come back enough to tend my posts and make some more.
    • [email protected] would probably manage without me as there are a few regular posters besides myself, which is really nice.
    • Delighted someone else posted on [email protected]. If you check my pinned thread in that community that shows video game suggestion posts from other communities, people have been asking for video game suggestions a decent amount on Lemmy but few of the posts actually make it over to that community.
