Religious beliefs
Scotland is one of the least religious places in the west, the main argument is that people would try and kill their vulnerable family members to get inheritance / not have to deal with them anymore.
I’m worried about a scenario that won’t happen so now dying people must spend their final months in unendurable agony. Great logic.
