The Province of West Flanders and the Flemish government are jointly investing 4 million euros in a new technology experience centre to be built on the coast. It is not yet clear where the centre will be located, but what is clear is that it will cover everything to do with the sea. Any coastal municipality can put itself forward as a candidate host city.
