Evidence gathered by Amnesty International demonstrates how over a month since the introduction of its militarized aid distribution system, Israel has continued to use starvation of civilians as a weapon of war against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip and to deliberately impose conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction as part of its ongoing genocide.

Heartbreaking testimonies gathered from medical staff, parents of children hospitalized for malnutrition and displaced Palestinians struggling to survive paint a horrifying picture of acute levels of starvation and desperation in Gaza. Their accounts provide further evidence of the catastrophic suffering caused by Israel’s ongoing restrictions on life-saving aid and its deadly militarized aid scheme coupled with mass forced displacement, relentless bombardment and destruction of life-sustaining infrastructure.

“While the eyes of the world were diverted to the recent hostilities between Israel and Iran, Israel’s genocide has continued unabated in Gaza, including through the infliction of conditions of life that have created a deadly mix of hunger and disease pushing the population past breaking point,” said Agnès Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International.

In the month following Israel’s imposition of a militarized “‘aid” scheme run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured either near militarized distribution sites or en route to humanitarian aid convoys.

I started calling this a New Holocaust ever since it became obvious that Israel was trying to starve Palestinians to death.

The number of deaths by starvation in Gaza are small. If you want to see what famine and death looks like, check out what happened over the last year in Sudan.

The number of deaths per month has been falling in Gaza for more than a year now.

The situation is bad, but nowhere near comparable to the Holocaust.

Who’s paying you to say this bullshit, do you have no heart, do you see how it can keep on going and that they can pump those numbers up as long as this war is going on, it’s not too late for it to equal one whole holocaust since that is the baseline for atrocity for you

You’re confusing “not being counted because the Gaza Hospitals were they did the counting were destroyed by Israel” with “not occurring”.

There was a study published in the Lancet Medical Journal about 6 months ago that back then estimated around 200k Palestinian dead even while the official figures remained stuck around the 50k mark since about 3 months into the invasion (when most Hospitals in Gaza were destroyed).

You’re parroting Zionist propaganda and I don’t really know if it’s because you yourself have fallen for it or some other, malevolent, reasons.

(Given that you’re doing this under an article about how Amnesty International gathered evidence that Israel is “using starvation of civilians as a weapon of war against Palestinians”, I know which of those two possibilities I would bet on)

Everyone who can connect the dots already realized that Trump gave Netanyahu the OK to kill as many Palestinians as he wants to.

In fact Trump is all in for normalizing genocide and the survival of the fittest (or in modern terms - whoever has the most powerful Military) as it fits his own agenda.

For crying out loud, stop trying to score political points in US politics when murdering brown people and helping Israel do so is the ultimate bipartisan subject in the US.

You can find differences between the two “sides” in US politics on some subjects (though often the distance is fag paper thin). but in this they’re on the same side, with at most the only difference being that the Democract establishment would rather Israel was a bit more quiet in their mass murdering.

I did not say a word about democrats, the person trying to bring up differences or indifferences between the two parties IN the US are you.

        I only talked about Trump.

Please work on your reading comprehension. Thanks.
