You reminded me of one of my favorite lines from Home Improvement when Tim was getting into a Christmas decoration contest with the neighbor across the way and the neighbor responded to Tim putting a searchlight in his front yard:
Kid: “Now he’s got spotlights in his yard.”
Tim pulls out binoculars
Tim: “Those aren’t spotlights! Those are 9,000 watt Xenon SuperTroopers!”
Ackchually you need to remake that meme in illuminance (Lux) and not luminous flux (Lumen). As illuminance is luminous flux per unit area, it is a significantly more accurate representation of the output of a lamp because it considers how focused that light source is. Luminous flux only tells you how much total light output a lamp has, which is meaningless if you have no information of how it is directed.

At some point you’re just shining your light through his wall.
My strongest one is 65k but its focused as hell. Tbh i like edc lights much more. Like having a 65k light is cool but to our eyes its actually only twice as bright as a 13k lumen light and thats only twice as bright as a 2500 lumen one. Tho one thing that does scale to lumen is how large of an area it can light up. So if you light up 1m² with a 2.5k one then a 13k one will light up 5m² comfortably and a 65k one 25m²
