• It isn’t just the ads. its that the whole platform needs to constantly grow and increase its revenue, so overtime we have more ads, more unskipable ads, more mid video ads, more ad block restrictions, worsening of algorithms so it maximizes view time and ad revenue rather than user satisfaction…

    it just keeps getting worse and worse.

    Then they make even more money by selling a subscription. So they are interested in making it more unusable without subscription.

    There is no end to it’s enshitification.
