Fuck this. They’re just trying to justify higher prices. The same way no one can tell the difference between expensive wine and cheap wine.
Ehhhhhh, most people can’t tell the difference between a “good” wine and a “great” wine, but the difference is usually pretty obvious between cheap and expensive. It’s just the higher end that’s mostly made up
Yup. I’ve had some really shit coffee. I’ve had some good coffee. But I’ve never had any that justifies exorbitant prices.
But if someone wants to buy some hyper-specific coffee at an exorbitant price, who am I to say no?
There definitely are tiers to wine. Doesn’t take much to learn an expensive one from a cheap one. Where the BS happens is, trying to nitpick among the same tier this regional place is better than others. Leading to the snobs only drinking wine from France and turning their nose to anything else.
