I literally had never a seen a single person who looks good with them. Not a single person had ever said they look beautiful.
To add to all of that you need to have a hole in your body to have them.

How new do you think body modification is? Cause it’s like at least a 5000 years old practice.
I think 5k is a a very low number for that.
5300 at least, since Ötzi had pierced ears.
But also evidence going back like 11k years from Turkey. And it might be a bunch older, it’s just hard to find evidence.
Otzi, literally the oldest mummy found in Europe, has tattoos. Body mods are as old as humanity. OP is definitely in the unpopular opinion camp here.
