This is exactly what they voted for.

They are just hurt that its affecting them.

If everything happened the same way, without affecting them, they’d still be cheering it… because they cheer anything that hurts the “right” people… I.E. people that arent them.

This won’t have any affect on them. If anything they will call it fake news. His base will fight each other to change this man’s diaper.

I think it will over time and has. There are explicit examples of it. The problem is that the ones who will be moved against him are not doing it from a change of heart.

They’re still selfish, hateful, and greedy. Its just eventually they reach a point where Trump doesn’t serve them in a way that sates those sociopathic traits. They’re upset that their shitty political project has hurt them, not that its hurt anyone at all.

He hasn’t changed a bit since before his first term. Anyone who payed any attention at all can see that. I’ve said it elsewhere, but this kind of post is just an attempt to jump off the sinking ship before history solidifies you on the wrong side of history and morality.

“It was finally after trump cut off the baby’s head and drank it’s blood live on TV that I started to think ‘Hey, I may have backed the wrong guy’”. Meanwhile, your inner quiet voice said, ‘let’s wait and see’.

This. He’s been the exact same since before the first term. If the access Hollywood tape wasn’t enough to push you away from him, then it’s not a moral issue. You bought the hate. Don’t chicken out now just because his asinine vitriol is starting to hurt you a bit. That feels a lot like seeing the ship has sprung some leaks and trying to get on the lifeboat before permanently getting stuck on the wrong side of history.

The man they voted for never existed at all – he was the product of their lead-addled imaginations and wishful thinking.

They voted for a fictional character who happened to have the same name as a real candidate.

They’ll “get it” until the very next time they have the opportunity to vote for a criminal with an “R” next to his name that says bad things about immigrants and liberals.

      Of course.

He (wisely) ran on affordability, whereas the prior administration let you become significantly poorer and then tried to gaslight you about it, as if you don’t do your own grocery shopping.

The speed which he turned on that reporter too that asked about the double cost of the ballroom.

That aggressiveness is seen in dementia patients.

Unfortunately, everything was organized behind the scenes, it seems that they may have a plan to recreate the events from revelation. I’m not even sure if this is the real Trump or his double.

Heritage Foundation and co-fascists seem to believe that they can force a god to bring Jesus Christ back, and that he will return in the form of AI… or they just think that enough of the populace will believe it.

Democrats are polling 14% higher than Republicans nationally. That is rig-proof, bloodbath territory if it holds until November, and there’s nothing to suggest it won’t, as Donald’s dementia is evidently getting worse and he is not going to end the war in Iran without a PR victory that Iran refuses to give him.

People are (and have been) waking up.

Now if only we could find more than two Democrats who actually have any intention of doing something different and actually opposing things…

Have you met the Democratic party? Grabbing one spectacular defeat after another from the jaws of victory is what they do.

The Democratic Party really isn’t a factor here. They’re just going to be the incidental benefactors of Donald’s monumental hubris.

Think of it like 2010. People didn’t really want the Republicans then, most just saw that as their only choice in the face of Barack Obama turning heel and making the active choice not to follow through on any of his progressive campaign promises. (And boy did he make extravagant promises.)

Harris did not lose because she was black. She lost because she ran a shitty campaign and didn’t care that Americans are being priced out of grocery stores.

Do you honestly think it was good strategy for Dems to joke about egg prices as if food staples becoming cost-prohibitive isn’t a real issue?

They may not say it publicly, but they love having a president that acts unilaterally, and every president after this will be that way. It gives them the space to support or oppose things much easier because they aren’t held accountable for actually doing anything.

Already noticed that with Newsome fucker further right then Regan, went so far has given Regan some fucking holiday in California. Also started hosting and agreeing with Neo nazi on a podcast. To top it off his tweets are no different then the shit Trump post. Add that with how he veto any bill that helps us and hurts the rich shows that Democrats are already lining up to be just like Trump.

Happens every time they try court Republicans and Maga voters and wont even look at progressives.

Hell Mamdani is doing great things but Democrats won’t even recognize it or try to copy his strategy. I bet you million bucks they will have him primary next time he comes up for reelection.

I think, with Mamdani, Dems and Republicans are convening behind closed doors and figuring out what administrative hurdles they can throw up in the five biggest American cities in order to make it impossible for another Mamdani to come along.

That’s what they did in the 90’s when Ross Perot got dangerously close to being elected president. It’s why a 3rd party candidate can’t get in on the debates, and why qualifying for the ballot is so hard, etc.

Absolutely they won’t, and they’re actively fighting against the progressives. They did Mamdani and Grahama Platner the same way, but if Platner gets in, my hope is his presence will help open the door for others. Even getting a handful of actual progressive senators in place would be huge.
