Taking the long way home.
If you’re doing a factorial the long way, is there any reason to multiply anything times one? It seems like you could just skip it, but I’m not a math guy.
It’s part of the definition, otherwise 1! is undefined.
I guess if it’s a show-your-work situation then you’d want to keep it in your equations, otherwise, yeah, I don’t see why you couldn’t just drop it.
I read that as doing Factorio the long way, which is a good way to play that game
