You aren’t fully dressed until you’ve got your hat. Send me back a century its difficult to find good quality hats these days and the sizes are more generic.
In my village we have a quality hat store. Most are handmade and >100€. I am not a hat person but if I wanted to become one, it would be a huge investment 😅

Oh lordy yes, I used to have a trilby that fitted me perfectly and got positive attention from the ladies, it was made in the '30s.
When it eventually wore out they were fashionable, so all the vintage ones were expensive, and all the new ones were rubbish.
I miss my trilby :-/
