It has a window so you can see how full it is, a switch to turn it on, gives off a ding when the water is boiling and has a small filter at the spout to catch any stuff that got inside or calcium deposits. The lid also has soft open so that it doesn’t fling out when you open it.
I swear by this Breville kettle. Lasts for years and is honestly worth the price IMHO.
