How would we go about this? Most people here are happy enough to only ask politely (aka wave signs and chant at large protests).
Like, there was almost half a million people in Sydney protesting Israel, and yet jack-shit has happened.
Liberals and Democrats dont own enough guns to do anything and all I see here, and on reddit, are lazy fucks wishing and hoping someone else will commit violence on their behalf, like some privileged person too scared to face any conflict in their lives.
Meanwhile, I am buying up guns and ammo, offering free shooting training to LGBTQ locals, and now Democrats label me as a fucking weirdo extremist, and all I am doing it advocating for socialism and being aggressive with my ideals.
Too many privileged dipshits on here, yes im calling you out random person reading this discussion, that yall think that civil rights and equity was won with unarmed people frolicking the streets passing flowers and sunshine rainbow Sesame Street tactics, when realistic change within your lifetime takes aggressive rhetoric, NOT this loser impotent pleading and hoping “someone should do something” online.

I wish my neighborhood had someone like you. I could use gum training, but I’m presently unemployed and would be nervous about going to a shop or range
When there’s a robust civil society, i think the sesame street shit can actually work. When you’re negotiating with peers, or at least people who see you as people, you can get a lot done that way. When you have institutions that aren’t just hollow boot licking contrivances of power they could be worth something.
It’s not that it isnt ever effective, it’s that its for a world that takes maintenance against entrenched inequality, a world we absolutely have not lived in for decades.
You’re probably gonna save a lot of queers when they come for us. Maybe add to your cirriculum a quick conflict assessment of places you spend your time; just a few sentences and some encouragement could cut seconds of hesitation when ICE comes calling.
