Sure, if you’re somewhere like the US which has heavily subsidised energy bills, but electricity is twice the cost in Britain. Then you’d need to replace your windows to accommodate the AC. You’d have to find somewhere that sells them too.
Sure AC units are largely out of stock, this week. Buy one when they are available again over the following months. If you are only cooling a single room instead of an entire house (similar applies to heating tbh) the costs are not that high either.
