Yeah, i got myself the iFixit toolkit for the screen replacement, which comes with this nice heating pad you can warm up in the microwave to loosen the glue from both the screen and the battery. Still have it, it’s now in my general toolkit, because there’s always something glued down nowadays.
I used a heat gun, I was still afraid to over do it and blow up the battery. Other than that, easy fix with a knock off battery as the official ones were sold out.
I replaced the battery on mine already. Only problem was that damn glue you got to melt.
