The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), the umbrella organisation for the Antwerp diamond sector, has once again succeeded—after intensive consultation and lobbying—in securing a zero per cent import duty for cut natural diamonds. The AWDC announced this on Friday in a press release. Over the past six months, a tariff of 10 per cent was in force.
