I watched some Stanislav Kropivnikov stuff and decided to read about him. Read how he identified a lot of problems with the west correctly, and then got disappointed when he blamed it on the gays and trans youth healthcare. Was watching Douglas Mcgregor. Aside from saying something along the lines of “Stalin made a mistake when creating Ukraine because Ukrainians are fake there’s no such nationality” he was spot that the west has to look into itself and change. And then he randomly blamed immigrants. Maddening.

you know that’s fair, which guests would you recommend?
Marandi, Mearsheimer, Crooke, Mercouris, Hudson, Blumenthal, Sachs, Wolff, Berletic, Postol, Varoufakis.
Marandi never seems to miss. The rest have their issues, but I’m not going to nitpick today.
Crooke is an interesting guy. I’m reading his Resistance book about Iran and it’s informative though I don’t expect ideological alignment with my views. With any of these people you have to exercise tolerance. Sachs for example has some geopolitical and historical insights but just cannot fathom that imperialism does what it does because it’s an obligate blood drinker. He’s constantly moaning about bad choices and why can’t we be more sensible. Uh, because that’s not where surplus value comes from, Jeff.
thank you ❤️
