      Get out of algorithm and suggested video streams completely. Use NewPipe or something and only use subscriptions or intentional searches.

      The kind of content and creators I watch are mostly on Nebula. I’m spending more and more time on Nebula and away from YouTube.

        Back when Nebula offered a lifetime subscription for a few days, I was debating myself if it’d be worth it. So far, I still have paid more in advance for it than if I had just subscribed monthly/yearly, but I absolutely don’t regret getting it.

      Install browser extensions that replace all video thumbnails with randomly selected video frames. All of a sudden, the startpage looks like a bunch of car salesmen, nothing but talking heads. No polish, no arrows. Did wonders for me. I think the one I use is called DeArrow, and it allows you to hide shorts, comments, recommended section and more. Really useful.
