Starting from 1 October, the Brussels-Capital Region will implement a rotation fee for the use of public charging stations for electric vehicles. The aim is to prevent charging station hogging, where users leave their fully charged vehicles plugged in for hours on end.

6 cents per minute is 3.60€/hr, which is comparable to parking meter rates in many crowded European cities. I predict inconsiderate people will prefer paying the fee rather than hunt for a parking spot in Brussels.
