WTF is a bundle? It’s just some arbitrary unmeasured amount of stuff held together, like a handfull. If you go to the Sunday street markets at abbatoir and gare du midi, it’s clear that some of those sellers have hired people with tiny hands. The price is mostly €0.20—€0.30 per bundle. But some of those vendors sell bundles with like triple or quadruple as much as those with the skimpiest shortest bundles.

When produce is sold per piece like that, you take the biggest two pieces you can find over to the scale and make sure you’re getting the most for the price. Easy to do in a grocery store but the street market scales have lines of people and the herb dealers don’t even have a scale. Obviously a bit silly to carry your marijuana/cocaine/whatever scales around with you to the market to weigh your coriander.
