I was cleaning the other day and noticed some lint/dust getting sucked into the vacuum cleaner while I was holding it in the air. It made me think an air filter would probably catch dirt as it gets stirred up within the space.

Does anyone use one? Have you noticed a cleaner room/home as a result?

We don’t really have filters or fans like this in the UK. Not sure what makes for a good alternative that could be used here. I assume a cardboard box and cut holes in it for a fan and filters that do fit.

Bit expensive, but if you have access to a larger job-site style round metal fan, you may be able to tape some cardboard over the corners of the filter that overhang on the fan, then tape the rest of it to the fan itself to create a good seal
