I mean Iran is usually reasonable in its foreign policy. The regime is fucking evil don’t get me wrong, but that usually manifests more in their domestic policy (their support for Assad being a notable exception) instead. Which is to say: In a conflict between Iran and America/Israel, you can usually bet on Iran being the more reasonable side, at least partially because they’re not strong enough to be as blatantly evil as America outside their borders.
