Reminds me of someone here on Lemmy recently who had switched to eating nothing but steak and insisted it was giving them superhuman powers.

A few years ago, I stumbled upon a subreddit for the carnivore diet. There were people there listing all the conditions and diseases they were supposedly cured from by only eating meat.

One particular individual listed like thirty separate conditions.

I have a coworker who thought the solution to my fibro pain would be carnivore diet. They are on it and claim to feel so healthy. They’re also the most morbidly obese person there. Chugs pepsi (or coke idk) to “help with my UTI”

        Disgusting

Well it works for me since I have different teeth than most people. I have three rows if teeth and they rotate back and forth. As the fresh raw meat and bones come in they are immediately shredded.

I also sometimes jump up and catch birds. They make for a tasty snack.

Lmao. I was once talking with an extremely obese lady who was super positive about her new meat only diet. After asking a few more questions it was revealed she was eating excessive amounts of candy, chips and fastfood every day. Of course you’d lose weight, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good diet.
