    They should ask Iraq & Iran how they has worked out for them. I’d honestly be surprised if the US invaded Venezuela for oil, and Russia & China stood by. Maybe they’re holding out for the oil in Antarctica once the ice melts.

      Indeed, I reckon this must all be part of the Trump-Putin deal over Ukraine. Ever since I read that division of arctic mining zones were part of that discussion, Venezuela seemed obvious to be as well.
