There was no need for usage of lethal force in any of this.

They don’t learn when you need lethal force or when you don’t. They learn how you aim a gun and that you have immunity while you are doing your job.

The executioner was apparently an 8 year veteran.

8 year Border Patrol veteran. They’ve always been trash.

The article gives a lot of information, but all i read about this guy is “… the officer who shot the man had extensive training as a range safety officer and in using less-lethal force.”

Which doesn’t undermine my point i suppose

Immunity from civil litigation or criminal prosecution.

      2 very different things.

Didn’t Stephen Miller explicitly wrote “absolute immunity”?

Maybe federally. The state has its own ability to prosecute and the federal government can’t do shit about it other than impede investigating.

            In theory, they do.

Walz appears content to just write sternly-worded social media posts a’la Chuck Schumer.
