It sure looks like there’s a way to tag AI slop, but no filter?

I suppose tagging is done by humans? I haven’t looked at the process as while I don’t like AI, I don’t get angry over it, I just ignore it.

Increasingly, people can’t tell the difference, and are often wrong, mistaking one for the other. This is, of course, a Very Bad Thing. I don’t know of a good solution apart from disengaging and going for a walk. But, almost no one does that, so even if you do, as I do, we’ll be dragged down by the masses. This has been true forever, and it’s a cycle that will continue forever, until we go extinct.

I was thinking following a voluntary tagging system. It doesn’t have to be a perfect system that does advanced detection. But if someone says “My video was made by AI” I would like to see less of it, and better if someone tags “My video was made by people” I would like to see more.

      Honor system tagging :)

How would you identify it? As AI gets progressively better at creating images and videos any automated identification process will become obsolete and need to be constantly renewed. I’m not sure that’s feasible in a small volunteer based project like loops.

I mean, if people are tagging their posts as being made by AI there should at least be a way to filter out those.

Another option is a tag that certifies it was not made by AI. I’m not asking for advanced detection algorithms and features, just a way to make it a little bit easier.

If people voluntarily tag it as AI, sure it should be simple to filter it out.

About the tag certifying that it isn’t AI, is it voluntary again? In that case people have a strong incentive to pinky promise it isn’t AI just to get more exposure.
