So someone who is abused is the real aggressor if they finally end the abuse by ending the abuser? I certainly don’t think so.

The fault is society for allowing the situation to get to that point. Desperate people do desperate things. Its foolish and cruel to look down on your pedestal and declare life is black and white and a person who takes a life never has a reason.

There are times when it is horrible but not acknowledging the complexity is exactly how you get people who look the other way when the killing is obscure in a system of policies. Say how we kill thousands a year through poverty or homelessness. Those deaths are not seen as horrible because it’s slow and painful, instead of quick and painful. Maybe you will come back and say you don’t feel this way but such quick snap judgment without analysis is exactly how we get here.

Okay, counter point. Why complain at people on Lemmy then for pointing out facts? You kind of make it apparent this way that this is about your world view being challenged.

If you acknowledge that you have to do more then vote and America is not a democracy. It means you have wasted you time and your life on people who literally cannot care about you with the way the system is.

We are not voting our way out of fascism. We are not fixing a system working as intended.

The only reason you wouldn’t want to break things right now means you still think there is good in the system. The system is working as intended and absolutely needs to be broken so something better can be made.

Knowledge mostly the rest is probably time but mostly knowledge. I know just enough tech wise but not nearly enough to be helpful.

Constantly. Something about my brain and shit had given me very vivid dreams for as long as I can remeber. It has its ups and down sides. The best is when I get to hug a dead relative the worst is the brutal death of me and loved ones.

The most annoying are when I dream about mundane tasks like taking my meds or feeding a pet. I think wake up and then have to figure out if I actually did those things or not.

You get used to it though. However it does present the weird phenomenon of feeling older then I am. Or at least adds to it. Its almost like I’m awake more then everyone which means time is much slower.

Pros it’s not windows.

Cons its Linux.

You will curse it and praise it in the same breath for the rest of your life.
