Why waste a bomb when you can use no-food for free? Oh, maybe it’s a recreational bombing.
It’s kettling at a national level. Virtually imprison innocent people for long enough, in conditions bad enough, and it’s no surprise that they lash out. Likud was waiting for it and used it as the pretext for the extermination of the Palestinian people.
It’s like they are just bad at this. The one device I have where I can’t block YouTube’s ads is set to route through Tokyo, so the ads are in Japanese, which I barely understand.
Yes, apparently I learned Swedish as soon as I stepped off the plane in Stockholm. I’m even logged into your site and you have my home address, you twits.
America could sure use less internal combustion and more high-speed rail.
Uh, what? I’ll use a quote when it neatly captures what I was thinking, and credit it to the original author. The phrase is the important part I guess, but fair play to the author.
If you’re drawing authority from it, that’s on you. Sometimes you just like the turn of phrase and are giving credit.
1984 missed that our telescreens would be portable and the hate isn’t limited to two minutes per day.
As a child and into my teens, I had an inner monologue that was switched on all the time. After practising meditation and reading without subvocalisation, I was finally able to ‘shut up’ where stopping the monologue was as easy as stopping talking. Anyway, I’d encourage anyone to give it a try. Now being able to think without distracting chatter is well worth it for me.

Our ancient tradition since the 1960s.
“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. […] The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some 50 miles of concrete highway. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people.” - Eisenhower
Do you know what “most” means?
How about you start with the criminals who have 34 felony convictions?
Yep, it’s not the case where I live. Besides, is there a secret third name it must have for you to call it by when you don’t know the resident’s ownership status?
An amazing endorsement from Ackman.
Doesn’t matter. We are going to get so rich putting AI into everything. Stock will go up because we can fire everyone (except CEOs, they have inherent magical abilities not based on intelligence) and then we will have all the money. We just need to find new markets for our products because nobody (except us) has any money.
The important point is that they can regurgitate specific strings they have ingested. Personal information they have sucked up could just as easily still be in there.
