I love it when western politicians are like ‘this objectively amazing this is BAD because it’s not chained to us anymore’, and I’m sitting in the background cheering and laughing my ass off.

…yeah this one’s on me, idk shit about México I really shouldn’t be talking much past ‘invading them is bad’. I got that point from hearsay, I’m sorry, I need to vet my own statements.

They just got their President stolen, their entire damn guard was murdered, their weapons systems were hacked, and over 80 are left dead, there’s nothing for one to do after that point besides try and calm the fuck down or panic will ensue. There’s no realistic scenario where directly fighting the US ends well, what I would recommend is pulling out of non-proliferation deals and reinforcing ALBA and the union of South America (or at least, friendly states), into a direct ‘attack on one is an attack on all’ move.

I seriously think you should listen to the Soberania podcast, theres just a lot of bullshit we assume about México because AMLO was boisterous and relatively skittish. I’m not saying ‘socdem good’, just that there’s a difference between socdems in the West and socdems in the global south since an aspect of some form of anti-imperialism is required for socdems to form in places like México. They’re still highly likely to capitulate, but they still do have an air of general support for telling the U.S. to fuck itself when it won’t end up with their own death.

In Sheinbaum’s case, the tariffing China thing was because they thought that would win Harris over if she won. Cant say much about anything else, but yeah, it’s not like Mexico’s in a position where it’s willing to fight a war with the US. After all, they’ve lost over half their territory before, the US’ actions still leave massive lasting trauma, I truly understand appeasement, even if it doesn’t do shit, after what they just saw on the 3rd.

If AP is saying Russia said that, then the entire jig would be up. This is the same as the Economist saying Rodríguez is Trump’s ideal candidate because she’s got experience with oil.

Hearing about Cecelia Flores’ injuries made my blood boil while I resisted tears. The more I learn about that couple, the more disgust I have for their abduction and the more I just want to give them a hug. Same with Delcy Rodríguez, her father was killed by motherfuckers the U.S. went out of their way to keep in power, and now she’s getting slammed because of rumors that she’s a traitor, fomented by those same motherfuckers. My burning hatred for Trump in the last few days has reached levels I couldn’t imagine, and I’ve cried seeing the results of what we’re doing to Palestine for two years now.

Now im learning new organizations to read from in Venezuela, plus my B2 Spanish is getting refined. Massive fucking win for educating gringos along the way to fighting the Yanks.

Yep, it is our hemisphere, the hemisphere of the people who fucking live in it. It’s the hemisphere of Venezuelans, Cubans, Nicaraguans, Puerto Ricans, Paraguayans, Argentinians, and most especially the hemisphere of the indigenous peoples who remain after our ancestors slaughtered them en masse and called it civilization. May the Western Hemisphere be liberated and settler colonialism’s curse be crushed underfoot.

There’s likely some, maybe a couple on the guard side, but at this point, the indicators ive seen from people like Delcy Rodríguez are showing that most of the cabinet is safe (the foreign minister, VP/oil minister/Acting President, military commanders).

Yeah, the moment I looked up Rodríguez’s history, I knew that claim about cooperation with Trump was bullshit, she has a more solidly ML stance than even Evo Morales or Allende ever did. If she ain’t safe, no one could be. I’m just glad that the country’s in safe hands at the moment, and even if it wasn’t, the cabinet cant fuck up Venezuela on its own. To say my confidence in Venezuela has actually increased would be the understatement of the century. The fact that the nation didnt have far worse effects from this truly astonishes me, though obviously a decapitation strike does little to destroy a state apparatus.

Btw, I found a great video from multiple Venezuelans, with Vijay as well. We’ve got José Luis Granados Ceja, Andreína Chávez, with Katie Halper as the host. Very good points on addressing the distrust with Delcy Rodríguez, comparisons Trump made to Qassem Soleimani, how the hell the U.S. might’ve gotten in with seemingly little resistance, and what the fuck’s going on with María Corina Machado.

Fuck, this type of shit is why I’m immediately going to be on the side of caution when saying Venezuela just let the U.S. in. Trump came in with a shit ton of flare, that’s what signifies weakness, not strength. If this wasnt just a show, he’d sneak in and sneak out with little commotion, which would do more to cause civil war. The U.S. may be a paper tiger, but it’s a paper tiger with radio jammers that seriously fuck them up no matter how prepared they are.

Why is the smashed-in clock right? The depths of insanity US emperors reach is astounding.

Oh, shit I completely forgot DropSite exists. Checks it out ¡¿Que carajo, mi hermoso amor José Luis Granados Ceja es el autor?! Joder, sí.

They hanged Saddam and bragged about it (obviously not the same, Maduro’s so much better), but that depends how insane Trump’s looking.

I’ll send a google doc of all the events in one bigass timeline. Unfortunately most of it is western live news, but it should have a good amount of information (it’s in CET and my time stamps aren’t gonna be perfect).

I sincerely hope the VP or Maduro do some serious purges once this shit is over, they were far too kind to the opposition after all this shit.
Nonononono, that’s never a good sign, fuck.
