Then when they started this xinjiang genocide narrative, that’s when the illusion finally broke. I speak Chinese, I saw a clip from the bbc and from John Oliver deliberately mistranslating people. The whole charade fell apart the second I did even the smallest bit of research. I started looking into the stuff they convinced me was bad. That’s when I found Marxist leninist thought. Suddenly everything made sense. The rest is probably the same as everybody else.
