I hope Russia has a drone or ship following the aircraft carriers around, just like the empire is always flying drones right close to Russia to chose targets for their puppets.

Well, that’s actually a realistic possibility.
After losing Greenland, and perhaps something else to their masters, europe might decide to “take measures into their own hands” and attack Russia, at which point Russia may end up taking everything there in some way.

I just use Firefox with uBlock origin, on Ubuntu and Android. No ads for me.

They haven’t even taken Venezuela yet.
The way things are going this isn’t even going to be their “Vietnam” or whatever. They’ll just grab Greenland someday, release Maduro quietly, and no one will talk about Venezuela again as the imperialists infight.

If the person is neutral, they could spend a billion lifetimes speaking of the evils of the empire and still wouldn’t have gotten the right to speak anything bad or even neutral about AES countries, or any Global South country for that matter, in the context of imperialist attacks and such. So when someone starts a conversation saying how they dislike ‘insert Global South leader name here’, they’ve already outed themselves as agents for imperialism…

The imperialists probably tried killing Putin a few days back, on that attack at one of his houses, so now that that didn’t work but that they ‘took down’ another one of Russia’s allies they will feel emboldened to do whatever they want until someone stands up to them again.

Every country needs to learn from this.
The news comming out of China look pretty good overall, so you could try learning a bit about what’s going on there, and perhaps even try learning the language, as that’s a multi year project.

China has discovered that the bureaucratic machinery of export licensing provides a precision instrument for modulating access to critical materials. It can approve allies and deny adversaries. It can grant licenses to commercial applications while blocking military end uses. It can tighten the tap during trade negotiations and loosen it as concessions are extracted. It can harvest granular data about Western supply chains with each application, mapping exactly which defense contractor needs tungsten for which munition program and which semiconductor fab requires tungsten hexafluoride for which node technology.
That looks like a nice way of getting data. I guess they already had it to some extent, but now they can really dig deep into anything by requiring more info about what the tungsten is going to be used in, with actual scientific and engineering explanations and data about uses in things, specially high end infrastructure like chipmaking.
The DM53 and DM63 rounds used by Leopard 2 tanks require tungsten. No tungsten, no penetrators. No penetrators, no armor-defeating capability. The causal chain is that direct.
Drones are already making tanks take new roles in war, being much less about tank vs tank and more about heavy support for advancements on open ground while under indirect, direct fire and drone attack, which don’t use tungsten, so I don’t think this specific part of the article is as important.
Interesting article overall, specially in regards to how China is going about the control of critical minerals, though I didn’t see sources which makes it hard to see how accurate everything is.

From what I heard China is actually being paid for some ‘massive’ loans it gave to Venezuela with (at least some of) that oil, so the usa actually could just be stealing a Venezuelan payment to China, which might not have been the case with any of the thefts so far but will likely be happen if the thefts continue.

It may be obviously about oil, but it’s also less obviously about rare earths. I don’t know how much of it Venezuela or their other neighbors have but here in Brazil there’s a lot, and as the regime’s meddling for the last many years hasn’t led to as much theft as they wanted they might be trying to use their attack, theft and murder against Venezuela to make moves here too. Though if those moves will be just threats or attacks will depend on what they can get away doing against Venezuela…

Until the us actually dumps their (partial) puppet that is Ukraine I’ll prefer to not assume it as using Ukraine is very profitable for a lot of the people with political power in the us.

Isn’t this “plan” a us plan that the media is trying to portray as already accepeted by Russia before they even said anything? And considering Putin said yesterday that they are getting what they want militarily already I don’t think Russia would accept something so bad either.

From what I remember of when they attacked Iran the days leading to it were full of talks about “peace” as well…

Unless it’s fully local, where you can control such things.

They didn’t “spend” all that money though. A lot of it was “spent” on paying workers and goods but a lot of it went to the bourgeoisie as part of the wealth transfer to the bouregoisie, and some of their supporters, under capitalism.

It seems he held back when Chinese officials were attacked a few months back though, no?

Likelly the people profiting from the war in the US (billionaries, politicians and such) didn’t like that the ‘institutions’ they set up to ensure money goes to the right people are being coopted/taken over by their puppet.
Iran might not do so preemptivelly, but it would be really dumb of them not to sink it if they get attacked by the carriers, as letting them continue to function is leaving another base of the enemy standing, and they have already said they will strike the us’ bases if they are attacked.
