That is the shape of the issue, the moment that we feel as enemies of the people we are screwed the issue is finding out how to revert that thought, and often it only happens when we get close to people, and if you do, you will probably realise that they will agree with the fact that their work is important and undervalued, that things suck for them, but they also have a dream of not suffering anymore, and they only see the form of that by becoming rich and they understand instinctively that the ending capitalists ends the possibility to become rich and that scares people kills their hope, that is a false hope indeed but it’s their only hope that they know.
So it’s our job offer another hope another way of understanding the world, and I don’t know how it was your journey into communism but many communists once held liberal, or another, capitalist way of thinking, it is natural we are born into capitalism, it’s important not to take it out on the people the schemes of the system

I was gonna comment about thr unthinkable, there is even more substance to that, one researcher I follow talks about the fact that when the allies came to Italy they devised a deal with a Goebbels underling (likely speaking in name of the guy himself) to not fight the German units they come across and free them to join the German front against the communists. The idea behind that was the utter necessity (that can be clearly viewed when looking at gladio) of preventing the Soviets from getting to Italy and embolden the Italian communist movement and form a very potent alliance there.
I would think that China will never sign it, because I think this would be swiftly weponized against China(as you’ve said) with claims of genocide in Xinjiang and human rights violations in Tibet and all the same old westen song and dance, so I feel they’ll just run things their way, plus they don’t need this PR right now I’d wager, I think they are moving well towards their goals without the need to expose themselves to this kind of attack. So overall I don’t think they gain a lot doing it and stand to lose a bit, plus this PR you say is validation by the western powers, and I don’t think China is too worried with that validation as it’s much more worried with presenting themselves as an alternative to the western powers to the global south, so being more connected to them does them not too many favors
