Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Apparently, Rocket League and Fall Guys are being ported to Fortnite. Both games currently work on Linux, but in the future, they may require playing through FortniteEnglish
2·4 days agoYeah I ended up installing the windows version with proton, had some weird hiccuping and regular intervals but that might just be me, otherwise it worked fine. I didn’t actually try playing an online match though, only local multiplayer

10·4 days agoRL on steam is getting updates but only for the windows client. The Linux & mac client is an old version that only works offline. I found this out the other day when I installed rocket league on steam to try out since I haven’t played it in a long time

1·14 days agoI’ve used veracrypt for years, starting back on Windows and I still use it since I moved to Linux. I don’t use all of the features for it but what I have are encrypted volumes that exist on hard disks as a single file, which when opened with veracrypt, show themselves as a new disk in the system.
There’s probably better ways to encrypt data on onedrive, but you could probably create one of those encrypted volumes to store on onedrive.

I’ll look out for it, I’ve had some hotpot frozen meat for a while that I’ve been procrastinating using because I couldn’t remember what I should use for soup base.
Thanks!
What do you use for the soup base?
What’s your recipe for the dough?

1·3 months agoI’m there with ya. Makes it last longer too once you get through the popped ones.
I remember rooting my Nook Color (android tablet) way back in the day and one of the things you could do was reduce the brightness below what was normally allowed, all the way to you legit can’t see.
Now that I think about it, I remember you could do this with custom firmware on the 3DS too.
I think they leave the minimum high enough to avoid the risk of someone putting it so low that they can’t figure out how to get it back up.
