NYC is more than twice the size of any of those cities. It’s still the city.
e: And Atlanta proper is only half a million people. It’s the metro area that’s got the population. Lots of mayors.

FWIW, NYC is the city.
The US military has said the operation went as planned and that it was an “overwhelming success.”
Just to be clear, that can be true and the mission failed to do more than set Iran back a few months. They can have destroyed the targets they were told to destroy (success), but the targets may have been wrong or incomplete. Or, as the article suggests, the bombs landed where they were supposed to, but didn’t penetrate underground enough to do the damage desired.
Oh! TIL! Thank you!
I saw a longer quote from him. He doesn’t blame online abuse, rather says that it was a (major?) contributing factor. He also said that some of that abuse was coming from other animal rescues, so I’m sure he’s fucking pissed on top of grieving.
Almost inhospitable to most life. This makes the time to spoilage as long as possible by slowing the growth of microorganisms as much as possible while keeping fresh food palatable for as long as possible.
Yes and yes, though I’m not sure what those questions are driving at.
Headline is badly written.
It’s not a “war powers resolution to authorize Trump’s Iran strikes” that Johnson is opposing.
It’s a “war powers resolution [which would prevent US intervention in Iran]” that Johnson opposes, and his opposition is supporting authorization of Trump’s Iran strikes.
So many nations over there proclaim a sort of “we stand with our brothers to the death” out loud while their actions (or lack thereof) say something completely different.
“Rogue agency that does [leader’s] bidding” - where have I seen this before?
Looks like he’s feeling the sting of being ignored and has to pump himself up in an attempt to get the world to pay him attention.
So presidential.
Which can easily be twisted to include citizens. You don’t have to be a non citizen to be a “migrant worker.” One might say that someone who moves to a new city is a “migrant.”
All of the boxes require people.
The soap box (speaking, shaming) failed to secure liberty. The ballot box (elections) failed to secure liberty. The jury box (judicial proceedings) failed to secure liberty.
One box remains.
Then the ballot box - the second box of liberty - has failed.
Tangent: eye witness testimony is the worst kind of testimony.
Unless there’s a Sharpie involved, then all bets are off.
Did they even specify “non-citizen”?
If your idea of liberty is unidentified armed masked government agents snatching up people and rendering them to foreign prisons, you might be a fascist.
Oh no you’re right - Atlanta, Chicago, LA metro areas are all on par with NYC.
But … the NYC metro area agruably stretches beyond DC now.
