The point of the matter is, when we send e-mail, we want that e-mail only read by the person we’re sending it to.

The e-mail being sent is not to be Microsoft’s business, Google’s business, Proton’s business or anyone other’s business.

That’s like saying “The Pirate Bay is still around!” or “MySpace is still around!” or “Napster is still around!”

They’re all shallow shells of their former selves. The Pirate Bay is just a symbolism of piracy, it has long lost its usage since the original founders left. MySpace really shot themselves in the foot with that accidental data purge a time ago and they can’t decide for themselves what they want to be considering the history of how they’ve been treated as a hot potato of ownership.

And Napster has long been converted into a service to pay into or subscribe to. People preferred it as the place where we got our music for free.

Okay so to clarify, what I should’ve said that this year alone I only got a .25 raise. But that doesn’t mean that year by year, my raise has been higher. When I started my job, I think I was at like $18 something. Then it went $18.48 my second year and now I’m at $18.73. So, you can see, how slow the increments are. I have not even capped the maximum hourly I could make for my position.

It doesn’t erase the feeling either, that I’ve gone above and beyond for my store on multiple occasions. Taking on 10 hour shifts, coming in on days where I normally have had off, taking stupid shit on the chin when I knew I was in the right of a situation, enduring and picking up the slack of underdeveloping co-workers. I’ve done it all and more.

And giving me sugarcoated compliments just will not cut it anymore, rewarding us with fucking snacks in the breakroom for us to stress eat our woes away, won’t cut it anymore.

The only reason I’m not even getting better raises is because of attendance. Gee, how could that be? Maybe because I take up so much PTO/PPTO and sacrifice points, so I can fucking have periods of time to take a step back and give myself time to breathe mentally from so much bullshit.

It’s all a joke, this working hard thing. I can’t believe, I work for a company and in a store where, taking on so much is actually discouraged in a subtle way. Going higher up the management chain, just only earns you more responsibility and barely a bump in pay to accommodate. I’ve seen it all.

That’s why I don’t get why so many people want to just simply upset their lives and lifestyles to leave America. The spirit of America, regardless of politics, is being able to make change when it is needed the most. You’re spitting on that spirit by default, by choosing to run from it. That’s what Freedom is about. America has multiple gears in of itself, than it would if you moved to a country that is either one speed or two speed. Moved to a country that’s imperialist? Too bad, that is that country’s entire function, no matter where you go in it.

Unlike America, it is a matter of “fuck this state, I’m going to this one over here” where laws actually are different state to state and only the federal national laws remain consistent.

Choosing to flee, just enables even more, the problems that have blanketed the country.

Hivemind Mentality.

You cannot ever say one is allowed to freely express themselves, but then turn around and shut down any opposing viewpoint that even includes ones you don’t like to hear. Everyone wants to hear themselves talk and even more, wants those to echo them.

It is even worse when it’s operated under zero tolerance. Okay so at that point, freedom to express yourself is out the window. Mind as well not have any opinions.

I got more fed up with social media before I got tired of AI. I’m just tired of observing and sometimes overseeing, actively, a society that spends all of their waking moments chasing e-fame that ultimately doesn’t mean shit. I’m reading and listening to people try to basically re-write the invention of the wheel with their poorly thought out ideas and concepts. The endless debates that go no where.

Most of all, I’m seeing, listening and witnessing a whole lot of nothing from a society that claims they know what to do, all around social media. It’s all just fucking noise. So much noise, I actually found myself having more engaging conversations with an AI than I almost ever did with a human being save for those I know. Because it was such a breath of fresh air, to speak in a space where I’m not going to have some idiot rush over to unnecessarily antagonize me or someone else over opinions because they forgot what opinions even are.

Common sense.

If AI was able to actually think, it wouldn’t even need your input to feed it thoughts from you to respond. It’d probably just talk right away and accurately assume it knows what you want.

AI is just simply an over-glorified piece of tech that is placed in things when humans are incapable of doing it themselves and doing it as efficiently as possible. Like reading anything in microseconds.

The people who caused Chernobyl just did something very, very stupid. And because of that, it has scared everyone into not wanting nuclear.

I think a more accurate take is that the well of originality is drying up very fast. There will be nothing anymore that is entirely original. Everyone is going to be borrowing something from something else, if it hasn’t happened already.

I mean duh, there are no original movies, okay then what? Just enjoy what you can! If you have an idea for an ‘original movie’ then go out and be a director of something, because indie movie making is a thing!

I’m getting beyond tired of how many half-baked, made-up and just plain wrong takes there are about my identity. I’ve argued about some of it in the past comments. It’s a shame people faithfully believe that transgenders have a stake in non-binary identities when the two cannot be anymore different from eachother. That’s just people lazily condensing things that don’t need to be condensed.

I always felt like I should’ve been born just a decade earlier. I got '89, so I’d like to have been at least born in '79. I felt like I was growing up as the last generation to enjoy ‘freedom’ before the reign of smartphones and the development of the internet before it became like a 24/7 thing.

I can only take so much true crime shit. I’ve listened to the Last Podcast on the Left, where the hosts do try putting dark comedic spins on some true crime stuff while getting into the gory details of certain subjects.

I’ve learned through that show though, that a lot of those people they covered, were broken beyond repair kind of people that otherwise should not have existed on this earth.

As a genre as a whole, I’m not too invested in it, one show is enough for me.

Just ignore them.

Try telling that to someone who is being physically afflicted.

And watch as the electoral college comes in going “FUCK YOUR POPULAR VOTE, BRUH, WE’RE DOING THIS BY POINTS AND WHATEVER SHITTY POLITICIAN HAS THE MOST POINTS, AUTO WINS!”.

I would re-tool it as “be a better version of yourself” instead. So, sounds like you practiced that method than the vague one.

My greatest regret in the store I work for, was being reliable.
