  • Yeah they didn’t beat him to death, great. KICK can revert back to it’s usual self.

His last video was a marathon one where the others induced him into a severe lack of sleep while making him absorb all manners of substances.

His last message to his mother (because the two torturers randomly opened his message app to read out his private conversations to the public) told her he was sick of this video, wanted to stop it, but the two others held him captive.

Fuck the media for bowing to the pressure of big tech who want this story out of people’s mind before it sets a precedence. I’m not saying kick puts pressure, I’m saying the FANGS are doing it.

  • Anybody who isn’t an oligarch feels betrayed, constantly, by the actions of those who consider themselves to be Ubermensch.

Those two Dofus, and others like them, don’t get we know what they are doing and see through their bullshit 100 miles ahead.

What frightened them with Luigi will only multiply, no matter what control they think they are applying through their surveillance capitalism. It’s simply not possible to control what goes on between our ears. It’s possible to control personas that we all use on the internet but it’s much harder to control the being of meat and thoughts. And this is what will get those monsters as it often got others in history.

  • Russia and china are only using failures in western policies against us. They don’t create them. It’s up to our nations to resolve those tension spots so they cannot be used against us.

The Russian argument is understandable because it’s what our governments point to as the origin of their failures. It allows them to keep pointing at that “outside interference”, invest in surveillance while not investing in what the subjects used by the interference reveal about the real wants of the population are.

Russia certainly is no friend of democracy and hatred towards the Putin regime is healthy but to fight it does take more than just saying a third of your citizenship is dumb and brainwashed, you have to remedy what they use against us.

  • Not gonna happen, it’s time to acknowledge it. Europe is weak and set in its ways. It doesn’t want to lead but be a follower with a theatre of regulations that is not applied to big US corporations.

Europe would prefer to kill 10 of it’s nascent cloud companies rather than push away Microsoft, Apple or Meta.

Expect the same in AI Access to European data.

It’s all smokes and mirrors. We don’t want to be eaten up by Russia and we don’t want to fight. So we stay under the protection of uncle Sam in exchange for what we go all in deep into US tech and surveillance capitalism.

And we are sold cute stories about laws like GDPR or DMA that will never be applied and ridiculously small penalties for the few cases that make it to court.

  • I work for a french public owned company in transport. The whole company uses Microsoft 365, “sysadmin is an idiot and I don’t trust his password system” [ editing done] etc… Oh yeah, no one thought about cleaning up the system so copilot’s here all right, just sipping in the corner.

We are truly f***d .Doesn’t matter whom attacks, the US, China, Russia, indépendants. They can paralyse this transportation network in a snap. And I know it’s far from a lone example.

The french public services are hopeless as far as computing and basic security is concerned. There are a few times when they struck genius and got productive, secure services out, but day to day companies that are the infrastructure of the country itself are hopeless.

  • I think you have missed a few chapters, it’s not slow moving it’s glacial age moving. The free software policies have been already talked about since 2003., that’s 22 years ago. None of this is new, it did not appear with trump, nor with the Russian invasions. It’s way older projects and it all remains as talks, memorandums, conventions. Never anything enforced, GDPR is not enforced seriously, DMA will not be etc…

Let’s not kid ourselves anymore with the voluntary inaction of the EU.

You cannot understand how sorry I am about it. I am the result of a intra European wedding, I went places thanks to EU collaborations, I owe my wages and work hours in big parts to EU wide regulations. I still am an EU cheerleader in many wide ranging subjects. But on this one, in which European countries have the most economic, work opportunities , attraction pole, social benefits to reap for future generations. They are too much listening to the FANGS and banks and not enough to economists. It’s basic lip service that has been going on for too long.
