Too little too late in my opinion. Clone Hero and YARG kind of filled that niche for me including new community charts being released daily.

As someone who enjoyed shooters at the time this game released, I liked it. The gun building system wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but I thought it was fun and allowed you to try different play styles. Story is a bit out there and was never considered canon (till recently with the remakes) but I’d be damned if I did play a game attached to the FF7 universe. Takes place after Advent children if I remember correctly.

Tips: keep moving, keep shooting, enjoy it for what it is.
