On any lemmy/mbin/piefed instance, we can scale our mod team based on community’s topic and its subcriber. If the community is political/news…we increase our team. On chill community, 3 mods is enough. And if there is more users than we can add news mods. So when i read this paper, i’m afraid of burning out, i don’t know how they manage it.
