It depends. Graphics weren’t spiky pixels as you can recall. That produced a far softer image, aside from scanlines and all the other stuff.

By now I can hardly play retro games from that time without shader, since the impression is auch a difference.

I don’t see any chance in boycotts getting citizens out of this situation. The respect that they too are humans and of the same worth as the ruling class needs to be renewed.

Adding to this, voting with your wallet also seems to be just propaganda. How can you make a difference voting against much bigger wallets? (important: I am not advocating against it, but it alone will not suffice)

I found out that I’m an Autist so for me it at least explains things but is also totally not helping to know.

Nevertheless I do not know for sure if all of this isn’t totally normal, as in the regular human experience. The older you get the more difficult it is to find and hold friends.
