In fact, even the NCP have said this proposal doesn’t seem reasonable and will need a lot of negotiation to even become somewhat feasible. Let’s see this autumn where the negotiations lead us, but I don’t believe most of it will make it into the budget plan.

Cambodia claims the patrol was walking the regular route, and Thai soldiers suddenly opened fire towards them.

Obviously one (or both) is lying, and the situation escalated quickly.

Why not just add speed limits to areas where higher speeds are an issue? That’s been the approach to cars – no car is limited to 140 kmh despite speeds above that are illegal pretty much everywhere…

Regular bikes can easily go above 15 mph as well, so why should this only affect e-bikes?

Yes they do. This is a deterrent, not a last-ditch effort to protect ourselves if war breaks out.
