Correct - cats don’t “think”, they know. An infalliblity of thought obtained through the kind of instinctual perfection which only cats are enlightened enough to possess.
Until one emerges that’s even slightly stable enough to use as a secure currency (and not a stablecoin…), there can never be the kind of broad adoption introducing an entire separate exchange paradigm to the global economy would require. And that’s aside from the technical requirements that aren’t met - there’s no crypto network that could even come close to handling the load put on ex: the ACH, meaning awful lag on every transaction.
It’s just not there yet, and pretending like extreme reactions to a comment that’s both condescending and insulting to the users who disagree with you are unreasonable - or a reflection of nuanced opinions on cryptocurrencies in general- is disingenuous enough to be concerning. Surely you must see the flaws in how you’re behaving here.
Not every country has a corrupt securities administration.
Man, imagine how nice it would be if this were true.
The situation, where public lobbying for morality alone is capable of unilaterally causing wide cultural censorship, is the issue that has arose. Correcting that situation by rising to the tools by which the puritans are attempting to force their backwards morality onto society is a reaction, not the root cause. It’s pretty explicitly different.
“Man, I don’t understand why unregulated currencies are unpopular! I’m going to dismiss the heaping mountain of examples of it being abused with no possible recourse as just people being unreasonable in their dislike! That’ll convince the masses!”
Well I guess it’s not like theh could make the UI any less user friendly, why not bring it over into an app…
What were you even trying to say, though? You may have had a point, but contextless photos of current world leaders very situationally make a point on their own, and this doesn’t seem like it was one of those situations. It just reads as a halfhearted attempt to post bait, because you didn’t explain your intention with posting it.
Than their required use. Gendered crash test dummies have been a thing for a long time, but AFAIK prior to this there was no anatomical requirements at all, including children (?). Obviously it’s huge to include this since IDK a single woman who doesn’t have troubles with the extremely male-focused design of all modern cars (fucking seatbelts do not play well with tits (how is this still a thing) women can’t adjust mirrors to be useful since they sit below the sight envelope, blind spots, etc), but this is a bit sensationaist of a headline…
A: that is not what I said
B: So the crusades were what, then?
Atheism has never been used as the justification for a genocide - can any major religion claim the same? It’s obviously an extreme example, but at the same time it’s not entirely unreasonable to feel superior when comparisons like that are so easy to make.
When a business starts dictating morality to the general public, it too crosses a line from “just business” to a legit public concern that merits a stronger response. Hiding from the consequences of their actions because it’s “just business” is the reason so much of the world is so incredibly shitty right now, and we need to move past it’s acceptability as an excuse.
Ah, preachy and unoriginal. Noted.
(This isn’t a real article, he didn’t actually say this)
Ew, when did we get reddit’s cringy appeals to the audience talking past the original poster in an ineffectual attempt to throw shade?
Almost like it’s the goal. It’s not, they’re just hacky idiots, but it’s almost like that…
Science headlines urgh.
The development here is that they’ve figured out a model of the actual interaction thats happening during the transition phase between nREM and REM, which is pretty cool. We’ve known dreams are an artefact of memory processing for a long time, as well as that REM is basically long-term memory thunderdome. But the actual mechanisms underlaying this, in non-abstracted terms, are still hugely complex and largely not understood. This is a big step forward (if verified) towards the goal of unraveling the full memory encoding process.
How long before the EU stops complaining about the Chinese EV boom just to spite trump? I mean christ that one is at least extremely transparent… god this guy is an idiot.
The question here was whether it was subject to civilian or military aviation ATC - from every report released thus far, it was under civilian authority. Obviously, yes, a fighter jet was originally a military aircraft - but that isn’t relevant at the moment, since it’s registered to an organization independent of the US military.
Nah, we’re pretty down with the fact the soviets were right in there with us helping out.
