I’m in a weird spot. I’m a software dev and whether I like it or not I think LLM’s have changed the industry, probably forever. Or at least until the next big shift.

LLM’s can genuinely write working code and selfishly it does allow me to build POC’s in my off time that I never would have before. Working in the industry saps my motivation to build at home.

On the flip side the corporations building them are evil, stealing data to train them, stealing water and forcing customers to pay for grid improvements and just bad for the environment.
