Correct. Also permanent removal via 25th is actual harder than impeachment and removal because you will eventually need 2/3rds of each house of Congress. The 25th amendment is not a short circuit to impeachment.

I’ve had an AIO for years and had no complaints, but I just bought a fan since AIO can fail more easily over time. There are more parts that can fail and water can eventually evaporate or break down the materials.
I think it depends on what the use case is. I’m using my PC as a sever that I want running 24/7. As such, I don’t want fewer points of failure and I’m concerned about potential failures when I’m not home. Whereas, if it was just a gaming PC that I only turned on while I’m playing, I might care less as I’d be able to monitor it in person easier.

Fair. But even though this is clearly a politically motivated prosecution, I’d rather see the system operate the way it’s supposed to. The prosecutor shouldn’t be able to cut corners, and the judge shouldn’t take liberties.

Disagree. The answer is to dismiss without prejudice. The issue before the judge was, at its heart, whether the prosecutor had the legal authority to bring the indictment. The answer was no. As such, it’s not up to the court to tell the government they cannot bring the case again in a proper manner from qualified prosecutor.
The beauty of the decision is that – by issuing the order in this manner – the government is screwed anyway because (unless they successfully appeal this decision) the statute of limitations has tolled on Comey’s case,so even if Halligan or some other prosecutor were able to bring charges, the window to do so has closed. Case dismissed.

Good mix of usability and learning curve. You will need terminal, but that’s never been easier with AI assistants to learn how. Plenty of support for applications or open source workarounds. It also is familiar enough to use rather quickly, but not so much that it feel like a Windows clone. Highly recommend starting with Ubuntu.

I think at minimum, this would require your phone to be connected to tailscale whenever you want to listen to music. Not sure if this would work or be practical.

Turns out the computer had Lenovo premium service so a tech came out the next day and replaced the motherboard. Hopefully I won’t have another issue 😬

Yes, what ended up happening was the computer was still under warranty and had Lenovo premium service (I didn’t pay anything extra for it, maybe it comes default with the X1 Carbon?), so a tech came out a day later and replaced the motherboard. It was actually super simple and I was back up and running in no time. I haven’t had any issues since.
Hmmm. Booted a live version of Ubuntu off a USB stick and got the same result: No mounting of a thumbdrive on USB-C but it worked on USB-A. This is the second time I’ve had something like this happen with Ubuntu. I bought an X1 Gen 9 and the computer just stopped recognizing the battery. I was within the return period so I just sent it back and got the Gen 12. Now, I’m having a USB-C issue.
I haven’t had any damage or physical issues that would explain a loss of the usb-c ports. Additionally, the ports still work to charge the computer, so they physically must be working (at least in some capacity). I’m stumped.
Edit: Now that I think about it, the only thing I can think of is that I recently bought a UGreen 65W power brick. It’s the same wattage as my official lenovo charger. I wonder if that is behind it.
